Catering Services
Event organizers may use any caterer that can provide a valid certificate of liability insurance. A Stanford client representaive must be present while caterers are on site at all times. Any damage to the premises caused by the caterer is the responsibility of the Stanford client. Additional conditions for food service are posted in the Policies section. A partial list of caterers familiar with the BCC and Stanford is provided below.

Interpreter Services
Our technical manager will provide complete support for both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation and will assist in making all necessary technical arrangements with any vendor selected. Interpreters for events that use headsets must use the interpreter room, which looks out to the main hall and is connected to the main control room for maximum sound . A partial list of companies familiar with the BCC is provided below, though clients may use their own interpreters.
Directions
From Highway 101 North & South
Exit onto Embarcadero Road and travel west, following the signs directing you to Stanford University. About three miles after you exit the freeway, Embarcadero Road becomes Galvez Street as you cross El Camino Real. Stay in the left lane and continue past the stadium. Follow the round-about to stay on Galvez Street. Galvez will dead-end at Jane Stanford Way. Encina Hall is to the left of the intersection.
From Highway 280 North & South
Exit onto Sand Hill Road and follow the signs for Stanford University. Turn right at Alameda de las Pulgas and move to the left turn lanes. Turn left at Junipero Serra Blvd. Continue past the Stanford Golf Course to Campus Drive East. Turn left at Campus Drive East. Follow the 2 round-abouts to stay on Campus Drive East. At the Galvez Street round-about take the 3rd turn onto Galves Street. Galvez will dead-end at Jane Stanford Way. Encina Hall is to the left of the intersection.

Closest parking to Encina Hall:
- Galvez Lot, located across from the Stadium lot
- Burnham Pavilion lot at the corner of Galvez Street and Jane Stanford Way
- Knight Management Parking structure on Campus Drive East
