Main Hall

With maximum room capacity of 200 seats, the main hall accommodates a variety of seating arrangements for lectures, panels, classroom, and dining events.  The center also maintains a complete, on-site inventory of modern, conference-style furniture.  Our conference staff will assist in designing a customized floor plan for any event.  Set-up options include:

Lecture or theater style
Panel discussion
Catered sit-down event
Classroom
Boardroom
Auxiliary Room

This flexible space adjoins the main hall and can be configured for breakouts, overflow seating, receptions, or bar and food service.

VIP Room

Comfortable, private side room can be used as a VIP green room or for small meetings and media interviews.  Amenities include monitor of main hall, club chairs, refrigerator, mirror.  Nearby side entrance provides security access and egress.  Food and beverage service can be arranged.

Interpreter Room

The BCC is the only Stanford venue with a professional interpreter room for multi-lingual events.   The built-in room provides the optimal attendee experience by removing distracting translator noise from the event space, eliminating booth rental fees and maximizing floor space for conference activities. The room includes audio jacks for translation equipment and full room monitors for the interpreters.

Encina Lobby

Furnished with comfortable lounge seating and a photo history of the building, the Encina lobby is ideal for pre- and post-event receptions of up to 150 people.   Registration tables can be set up here for your event.

Oksenberg Room

The Oksenberg is ideal for breakouts, board meetings, dining and auxiliary activities associated with a conference event.  Many set up options are available.

Occasionally, the Oksenberg is available without booking the main hall.  Special arrangements must be made with the BCC staff.

Touchdown Space

Upon request, we can set up a separate work area that can be used as an event command center or as quiet space by conference attendees to use laptops to check email and work offline.   Lounge and table seating accommodates 10-20 people.

Service Kitchen

The center has a dedicated prep kitchen for staging sit-down meals and multi-meal events.  Caterers appreciate the service entry and elevator to move foods quickly from kitchens to guest tables.  Commercial-grade equipment includes: refrigerator, freezer, warming oven, microwave, and stainless steel counters, sinks, prep tables, and shelving.
